The Declaration of Independence sparked the beginning of the Revolutionary War, but that was not the only battle it began. It would later become the foundation to the women's rights movement. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence explaining the grievances the colonies had with the King and British government. It marked the Colonies decision to succeed from Britain. Thus, beginning a war that would ultimately be in favor of the colonist and their desires ultimately possible. likeminded individuals for just reasons. They ultimately had similar outcomes over the course of time. The colonist and women of the Seneca Falls Convention each had similar views from their oppressors and soon to be followers.
Jefferson chose his words wording carefully and strategically implemented it throughout the document. The Declaration of Independence proved to be very effective. It essentially marks the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. Jefferson made distinct points of intentions, and list of grievances. Over time more and more colonist got on board with the ideas of the founding fathers, and those who were not fought against the rebellion.
