In society today, teenagers are using digital technology a lot to bully other teenagers. Parents are trying to do everything they can to stop it, but it just keeps going.
One way digital technology is being used to bully teenagers is by creating fake Face Book accounts and writing false or hurtful information on Face Book walls. For example, in the article there was a teenager named D.C. who was starting ninth grade at a new school. But during the time he started, his mother, Marie, could see that D.C. was having a rough time at school. So Marie kept asking, and asking him what was wrong and he finally told her. “The kids say I’m saying all these nasty things about them on Face Book,” ...

So the boy sen her a text saying that he would ruin her life. Her father knew about the text and told the boy’s mother, then the mother took her sons phone away. The boy then made a false rumor on Face Book about Michaela and she had a rough time with other ski members. Her father, Gerrie, felt bad because he only wanted to help his daughter. “I did what I though was right to help my daughter,” said Gerrie, an art teacher, “and I only ended up making it worse. But when your kid gets a text like that, what are you supposed to do?”
There are many ways that parents use to help their children who are being bullied by digital technology.
