Theodore Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, wrote many children’s books, in fact he wrote 44. Dr Seuss was born on March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Massachusetts. After high school, Geisel went on to graduate at Dartmouth College. He later traveled to England, and spent some time at Oxford University. He soon dropped out of Oxford, and then traveled around England talking with numerous people, including authors. When Geisel returned to America he soon began drawing and selling cartoons.
