In society we call on our law enforcement departments to protect our communities from criminal activity against our properties and us. We want them to act quickly and aggressively in attempting to find criminals and prevent future crimes. For the most part I believe that society is satisfied with the performance of their police agencies. The only time we complain about out police agencies is when we feel that the police have in some way violated our civil rights.
The fourth amendment protects us against illegal search and seizure, but at the same time we have a “Good Faith” clause in that amendment. Police are asked to prevent crime and solve crimes that have already been committed. ...

free council the steps must be followed in order to insure a fair trial for the accused. This process is well defined for everyone involved in the case. Although this process has steps that some may see as trivial, it must be followed in order to prosecute effectively.
Crime control method is at the other end of the spectrum of the law. Crime control model is based on the idea that some of the accused are obviously guilty and however the evidence is obtained is irrelevant as long as the right subject is imprisoned. The model is time and cost effective and also would prevent criminals from slipping through the cracks of our justice system.
In my opinion due process is the best form of justice. Although I do not believe that the justice system should be looked at as a game, but if the rules are made by the law enforcement agencies (along with the lobbyist) they should play by them.
