Some experience a shift in emotions when first introduced to this field of expertise. It is important that if you wish to become a Forensic Pathologist that you must first understand that death is a part of life. A Forensic Pathologist focuses on the fact that they can do something useful by finding out how that person died. This does not mean that they need be void of emotion; the work of a Forensic Pathologist is quite often based on the empathy they have towards the family of the one deceased.
