after drinking or to take a taxi instead, I will choose to take a taxi. This decision is considered wise because of two things: one, based on what other people have told me or from what I have witnessed in my life, drunken driving causes accidents or at least run-ins with the police. Accidents and run-ins with the police are negative consequences, things to be avoided. Therefore, to avoid accidents and other negative consequences, I must make a decision based on the wisdom of knowing that I should take a taxi and not drive drunk. Choosing to do so is the wise decision because it leads to a positive outcome, one that promotes the safety and well-being of others.

The decision to not drink and drive is also an action based on courage, temperance, and justice. It takes courage to admit drunkenness and call a cab instead of driving out of a false sense of bravado or invincibility.
