Earth's temperature is controlled by balancing energy from the sun and the loss of heat back into space. The energy turn into radiation and on third of this reflected back to space. The rest of solar radiation is absorbed by the land and oceans. The temperature of the Earth's surface gets warmer because of long-wave infrared radiation. However, this long-wave radiation is trapped by the greenhouse gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, ozone, methane and nitrous oxide, which are naturally produced gases create greenhouse effect. Because of this, the temperature of the Earth is warmed up to 35 degrees (Mark 2007). As Mark explanation, greenhouse effect does not seem to be harmful to environment because it is naturally occurred in atmosphere. However, the problem can be seen when the amount of greenhouse gases are increased.
