Visits to Alternative practitioners have grown 47% from 1991 to 1997; 427 million visits in 1991 to 629 million visits in 1997. People are leaving a medical industry that has left them financially drained and has not lived up to it promise of healing. What are they turning to? In what are they putting their faith? Naturopathy ascribes to six unifying principals: The healing power of nature. The body will strive to heal itself the physician must remove that which prevents it. Treat the whole person.
