Don’t be scared of a person who is HIV positive or who has AIDS. It does not matter what is wrong with, they are still human beings with feelings. Just think of the pain that a person and his family is going through. Don’t think, “Well, I’ll never get AIDS and neither will anybody I know. That only happens to other people.” because that’s not true. I thought that way until one of my family members got AIDS. Now I’m going through heartache. The pain and fear I go through because a love one has contracted the virus that causes AIDS tears me up inside.

First, I must deal with the pain by getting everything out in the open. I can not make plans for the future anymore. I have to plan everything on a day by day basis. Now.
