Throughout the body of his speech he gives a feeling of urgency that this problem needs to be corrected as soon as possible. He also gives possible solutions but none of his solutions are quick fixes. The solution involves the whole human race to work together toward this common goal. He also talks about the importance of protest but only in a nonviolent nature. He wants the blacks to rise up and fight for their freedom but only in a manner that will promote dignity and social respect.
