In Martin Luther King Jr.'s eminent speech "I Have a Dream," King speaks of discrimination, and racial injustice, and his view of unity between all races! Finally, the third and maybe most important theme is unity. Unity was a fundamental practice of Doctor King's doctrine. Unity is the basic principal for a fundamentally sound nation. For example, King states "The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges," implying that the United States cannot be united until "Justice" is granted for "God's children" (1194).
