from the cold is the symptom of a fever as having a fever with a cold is something that rarely happens. This high fever is also accompanied usually with a large headache which means colds do not have this symptom very often. This fever also last around three to four days which is definitely unpleasant. The flu also has a major complication of pneumonia which is life threatening although not common with people who have caught the flu.
