My parents have always been strong believers that going on a family vacation every year is important. A family vacation is an easy way to get some great bonding time and have a week or so to ourselves. In the past we have gone to the beach, to the smoky mountains, and even on a couple of cruises. This past summer, my parents told my brother, my sister and me that we would be going on another cruise. This one would be traveling to Cozumel, Belize, Honduras, and Grand Cayman. Cozumel. I also saw a large amount of tourists walking around from different places and beaches running the side of the island. My family continued through the gate and found our excursion group. We were going to do "The Amazing Cozumel Race", which is similar to "The Amazing Race" TV show. This excursion allows tourists to be able to explore the country while trying to find clues to lead from one spot to another to complete the race.
We started off the race by heading down the main road, running next to the beach, looking for the museum of Cozumel. After finding this, we were guided into the parts of Cozumel where people lived. We headed into the city and looked for a farmers market run by the natives. As we headed for the market we were able to see the houses of the people of Cozumel.
