Background of Leadership in Hong Kong

Hospital Authority (HA) annual plan stated the major targets goals and the whole plan of the head office and individual hospital clusters in the coming year (HA 2013).

According to the annual plan, one of the key target was "Build people first culture".

It aimed to increase professional capabilities. There have many objective to enhance the professional leadership. In fact, hospital authority provide many leadership training to different department of staff such as HA Leadership Pipeline. So as to maintain and increase leadership ability in hospital obviously, so leadership is an important role in the hospital.
