Love is dipolar, and reasonable; Shand claims. He compares freewill and love because normative cannot exist where there is no free choice. He adds that love is reasonable by saying “no beloved wants to hear that they are loved merely reasonably well or in a reasonable way”. Love is something that we want to be normative and non-rational that’s why they contradict and cause conflicts.
