It is important to evaluate the drinking age statistics and the results of those statistics, and the beliefs and goals of those opposed to reducing and raising the drinking age. The fundamental rights of legal adults should be addressed, and the laws in place that serve to strip away what some believe to be fundamental rights.

A very important factor pertaining to this law is that it will give the power back to the parents, which will lead to a more productive environment for a child to learn about alcohol. The combination of the public school system and parents working together will compel teenagers to actually think about alcohol without any misconceptions and in turn give them a chance to see alcohol from an objective perspective.
