Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were both very important to the Civil Rights Movement. They both had the same goal--African American freedom. However, they had very different approaches for achieving this goal. While Dr. Martin Luther King took a very peaceful approach, Malcolm X had a more aggressive way of doing things.
