I would have to say that Facebook is a great place to reconnect with old friends, and to keep in touch with relatives and friends who are far away. It's also a nice place to share your photographs which were taken in a party, a special event, or in a trip to some beautiful places… Further more, you can share your opinions about any topics with people who have the same interests with you.

But there are many problems in it, too. All that information is there to help you find your friends but people with "bad intentions" can access it, too. There is the reason why you shouldn't be allowed to say personal stuff like addresses or basically anything that can be used by someone else to steal ...

Another bad effect of Facebook is that some people are spending too much time surfing Facebook so they are abstracted from their work or studying. They cannot find out any interests in their real life any more.

All of their attention and pleasure now are for their friends “New Feeds”, “Photos” and “Events”…

Last but not least, there are some teenagers who are suffering from the deceit of some evildoers which may leave very bad consequences for their lives.

In short, likes any other social phenomena, Facebook may bring both benefit and problems to its users. We should be cautious with its popularity and attraction, otherwise we will destroy our own lives when wasting a lot of time, money and power on ...
