I am here today in the hope that you will allow me to return to RACC in the fall so that I can continue on a path to graduation. My education means everything to me. I will be the first of my parents and siblings to graduate college. I am struggling in poverty and want to better my life. I am a disabled veteran with serious health conditions such as diabetes, PTSD, hypertension, cardio issues, and fibromyalgia and on a CPAP machine at night. Even with all these medical issues, I maintain good grades and always was a respectful student. I walk to classes in the hot sun and the cold snow, with a cane when in severe pain. I have used the time away from school to reflect on my actions. I have started meditating to relieve stress. I am using a prayer line through the 700 club for support of prayer. I communicate 2 times a week with a certified peer support specialist who gives me guidance and motivation to be successful. I read my bible. I have restarted sessions with the VA for my psychiatrist who helps me deal with PTSD.

Please allow me to return to RACC in the fall so I can complete my education. It means a lot to me. I vow to adhere to all rules of the college. I have changed my major to general studies and hope to graduate soon. I have no bitterness towards the security or appeals board, as they were doing their job.
