Paintball is a stinger!

Have you ever been shot by a paintball? Joshua, my son, decided he wanted to give paintball a try. So we went to a place in Oroville. Greg, Mellissa (20), Joshua (10), and I went to find out what it as all about. What was I thinking? We had to rent to the guns ans masks. The total came to $130 for all four of us. It was going to be worth all the pain those kids were going to feel.
The first game was boys against girls. We played in an area that reminded me of huge balloons tied to the ground. Right off the bat I got nailed by my own kid! It felt like I got stung by a swarm of bees. While I was running for cover Greg decided to shoot me in the butt ...

It seemed as though those two had it in for each other, because they were always the last two out. The last area we played in had a plane wreckage, lots foliage, little huts, and ditches. It was so funny watching everybody crawl on there bellies, and looking for each other so they don’t get hit. Josh and I were the first two out, of course. Watching Greg and Mellissa was comical. Greg was on his belly trying to get to Mellissa’s position without her hearing him, but she very aware. He didn’t have a clue the she was in the hut, so she kept still until the right moment. Once she spotted him the battle was on. All you can hear was the pop of the paintball guns, and the high pitch screams from Mellissa. She held her own, even though she had no chance at all. Two of them were laughing so hard. They were two feet from one another with just a twig hut between them. Greg finally got Mellissa and it was Game Over!
