A few years ago, some Major League baseball players used Performance Enhancing Drugs to increase productivity on the field. The short-term result helped player's statistics and decrease recover times from injuries. In the steroid era, in baseball, the number of home runs, averages, and performance increased. The long time effects on using performance-enhancing drugs are not good.
