Pollution

The rapid growth in population and equally rapid consumption of limited resources without thought to the long term consequences have led to a year over year increase in pollution globally. In this day and age, everything that we do in some way affects the environment. Because natural resources are limited and because we, as humans, have proven ourselves unable to self-regulate, means that the government has to step in and ultimately be responsible to protect the environment, prolong our ability to exist on this earth and to ultimately motivate us to "go green".
We, as citizens of the earth, need to be more aware that our actions and how we manage our resources affect the environment ...

The government must continue to motivate good stewardship through laws that penalize for failing to meet a certain standards.
