at Davenport based on classes I took at Western Michigan University. I am trying to follow the recommended class sequence as outlined in the Student Handbook of Health Professions for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing pre-licesure program. I have not been accepted into the program yet and it's always good to have a back-up plan, so I am also considering the Associates program in Medical Assisting. Since some of the courses required for the programs are the same I am able to take course that will be accepted for both programs. This semester I am taking BIOL 110 and the lab that goes with it, HLTH 101, HLTH 110, and MATH 030 because my math skills were not at the level for MATH 125, which I hope to take next semester to satisfy that requirement. For the winter semester I hope to continue taking the foundations of excellence classes and take the next BIOL class, BIOL 121 and its lab, CHEM 150 and it's lab, MATH 125, and hopefully finish my English requirements with ENGL 110.
