The Catch

The age old dilemma of mankind has been the crisis of love. Man has suffered through the ups and downs of love and relationships since the beginning of time. Even the Neanderthals of prehistoric times probably endured some sort of preliminary love with their families and members of their tribe; after all, love is the strongest emotion in which man possesses. Love may be compared to numerous objects—a sweet red rose, a calm golden summer sunset, or even an exquisite plate of food, but none other is greater than its relationship to a man, his pole, and a much needed fishing trip.

Arriving at his destination, a man’s first instinct is to rush straight out to the water and begin fishing right away. By nature, man is impatient, always finding ways to cut down on time, but anything in life that is worth doing is worth slowing down, meticulously preparing for event, taking the time to accomplish it right the first time, and then feeling the satisfaction of a job well done. Rushing into a relationship may cause a man to forget to include many important aspects and details (his gear and supplies) of his life, which could overall cause him to be unprepared in the many twists and turns that a relationship is going to put forth. And yes, love and relationships will present an array of struggles and bumps along the way that must be overcome.
