I carry my name, my race, my keys, clothes, phone, headphones, bus tickets, my pen, and my thoughts. Just like in the book I also carry more than just literal weight. I also carry what everyone expects from me. Such as hope. Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. Hope is something that people are making me carry, and I didn't make the choice to carry it, others have made that choice for me.
