Violence Against Women

Violence against women is an issue which is still present even in this modern era and we who call ourselves so called modernized people don’t even say a word about it. The evidence shows that the rate for women abuse has increased at an alarming rate but still the authorities are silent.
Why am I referring to the authorities here? They themselves are involved in women abuse acts and where the system itself will not give respect to the women then how can they stop others from abusing.
Rape, Kidnappings, domestic abuse and so called “honor killing” are at their peak. Women have to suffer from different problems every single day. In educational institutions, homes etc.

as she had 6 children so now their would be a less mouth to feed.
That little girl was abused and tortured by that family as she refused to agree with the marriage and after few weeks when after all that torture she was standing on her decision they threw acid on her face and left her abandoned.
This is the reality of our modern society that she wasn’t given justice as the culprits were rich and respectable in the society.
Like that girl their are so many other women who get slaughtered every now and then in the name of honor, integrity, marriages, dowry but we don’t speak a word.
Why do we zip up our mouths when the issue is of women integrity and women rights and why do we forget that we belong to a religion which was the pioneer of women rights.
We can still bring a change if we stand together on this issue and we can form a society which respects women and give her rights which she deserves.
WAKE UP AS IT’S NEVER TOO LATE….
