What is the most important for you in learning a language?

When you leave school you understand that the time to choose your future profession has come. To tell the truth, it was not very difficult task for me to make the choice of my future profession. English was one of my favourite subjects at school, so it was my dream to become a student of Foreign Philology Department.

Nowadays the knowledge of foreign language is very important for every educated person. English is the most wide spread language on Earth. It is language of business, politics, sports, science and computer technologies, international communication. English is also one of 5 languages in the UNO.

a free minute to read native and foreign literature. It is very interesting to read books by foreign authors in original (or the adopted variants). Owing to the knowledge of English I have such opportunity. Though it is quite natural, that studying English improves my memory and intellectual abilities.

I also like listen to or sing foreign songs. Since childhood I have been going in for singing. Last month I took part in the musician contest and became a Golden Voice of Taurida National University. Skills of correct pronunciation play a very important role in it as I sang English song "Shine".

Sure, learning a foreign language takes time and dedication. Though, quite often, you have to learn language you need. Some reasons are practical, some aspirational, some intellectual and others sentimental, but whatever the reasons are, having a clear idea of why you are learning a foreign language can motivate you in your study.
