trying to make their way to work or school or just trying to get from here to there each and every day. With the rising cost of gasoline, this is creating a strain on the residents in the Phoenix area. If more buses were available, many people would abandon their vehicles and hop on a bus or light rail. With an increase to the public bus system in Phoenix, these problems could become less relevant in the lives of the Phoenix citizens. An increase in public transportation would not only provide revenue for the city and clear the congestion in the city and freeways; it would also save people valuable time and money. This proposal will examine the issue, and come to a feasible solution as to how we as citizens can find a way to help Phoenix become a better place.
