technician serviced his computer in my absence, and determined that the customer needed to be on a different domain. The customer’s old domain was slowly being phased out, so he was switched to the new domain. The technician did not know that there was a network printer attached and that eight other customers printed to that printing device. Of course, all of the other customers were still on the old domain. There is no trust relationship between the old domain and the new domain, so the customers on the old domain cannot print to the printer on the new domain. I knew that this was the problem because of a lecture on domains and trust relationships in this class. The solution was to create accounts for everyone in the new domain, which needed to be done anyway.
