Cause And Effect: Students' Grades

When a student's grades are at the lowest, chaos occurs. His or her car is taken away, late night privileges are taken away, the curfew suddenly goes up, and "No TV!" A student certainly does not want this to happen, neither do the parents but why does it happen? Why does it happen to the smartest student in the school, or to a student who is not expecting it? Why do the grades drop like flies?
There are many answers, but probably the most infamous answer is that the student doesn't try hard enough. The student may not understand that the course he is taking is more important than other things. He or she could be focusing on sports or extra-curricular activities and not realizing ...

achieve the best grades. Any student can earn as good grades as the valedictorian of a class. A student's environment or surroundings, under which he does his work under, may cause a student's grades to be low.
A student's environment or place where he or she does work; plays a big factor on how well they concentrate and study. If the room is uncomfortable the student is not going to do well. There could be a lack of light, lack of space, and distractions such as television, kids (brothers and sisters), a telephone, or too many windows. The workspace should be quiet, clean and spacious. A comfortable workspace will cause a student to be able to work to his best abilities. An uncomfortable work area may cause a student to feel that there is too much work and it would be impossible to find things. His or her grades will drop, due to the lack of concentration because of an unhealthy environment. A student can also be over-whelmed with work, which can cause grades to drop.
