When people weren’t entirely focused on finding food due to farming, they were able to create more complex cultures. An abundance food lead to a more diverse range in human activities. All civilizations have some form of religion, art, language, records, goods and scientific achievements that defined them.
Since a number of people did not have access to everything they needed they had to trade. A common trading place lead to the development of cities. Trading caused different types for people to mingle and spread ideas. Diffusion lead to knowledge of other cultures and languages.
Large numbers of people caused governments to form. In tribal communities or smaller groups, positions of power were relatively simple. You had a tribal leader with a 2nd in command who took care and watched over a small group. In smaller communities, tribal leaders had respect and power.
