2. Ethics are a code of moral principles and are set standards of good/bad and right/wrong. Ethics are involved in all organizations and institutions around us whether it be political, medical, lawful, religious, or social. The role of ethics in our society is very important because it is the basic beliefs and standards that make everything run smoothly. Ethical behaviour is not always seen in society and sometimes rules and laws need to put to assure that moral decisions are made. Ethics should insure in society that human dignity is respected. The idea of this is to create a culture that respects the values of employees, customers and suppliers.
