H.H Holmes

Herman Webster Mudgett was born May 16,1861 Gilmanton,New Hamphire where his father was wealthy and respected citizen and had been the local promaster for nearly 25 years. Early in life Mudgett dropped his given name and became known as H.H Holmes a name which he attended medical school and began his career in crime he was constanly in trouble as a boy and young man.

In early years Mudgett was remembered for his cruelty to animals and smaller children. His only redeeming trait was that he always was an excellent student and did well in school.
