Job simplification regards the transference of decision-making power from employees and exerting it on the supervisor instead. The objective, in this case, entails depowering employees and decreasing their opportunistic behavior. This approach additionally strives to prove that employees are flexible, ensuring that supervisors and managers plan, train, as well control the employees and are as such the ones with the knowledge of the holistic work process, ensuring that employees need not think.
