It is hard to say if Martin Luther King Jr. would have had a sustainable impact on American history considering he wasn't able to continue his work. Maybe his violent death played a contributing part to his name being forever connected to the long overdue development of civil rights, which changed a whole nation. It is for sure that today's generation, not only of American and those of color, owe and have to thank him more than history books can express.

King was a great leader who could mobilize masses and with the help of these masses he would modify society for the better. A society where inequality, racism, and segregation are out of the question. ...

be an inspiration those around them. Also they can gather huge groups of allies to achieve their common aim in the world. Effective visions can create orientation, facilitate sense, and establish a feeling of unity.

The most inspirational aspect of Martin Luther King Jr. is that if I want a change, I can make a difference and be the change. He was an ambassador, agitator, and organiser who fought for what he believed in and set his priorities. His priorities were that democracy, tolerance, and civil rights were always ultimate objective to achieve. Due to the fact that nearly 50 years later, these rights are still being denied to some, the memory of King Jr. should encourage us as individuals to again fight for those rights and to never give up.

On his tomb is the saying "Free at Last" engraved, which perfectly represents what he believed in. It also reminds us of how successful his engagement was. Furthermore it is noteworthy that his protest was non-violent. King ...
