Naturalistic Observation

Where were the two places you conducted your observation? Which place had you not been before? Did you like this new place?
For my observation, I went to two different, yet similar, car dealership; Honda and BMW. I had never been to any car dealership , so I was very eager and excited to observe how people interact with each other since the dealership is much professional market then our everyday stores. I actually liked the Honda dealership more than the BMW dealership just because of the salesmen’s attitude towards potential buyers.

My first observation was taken at Honda dealership on January 14th at 12:05 pm.

exactly what the car they wanted to buy or test drive, while in Honda dealership, there were different races and sexes came.
• The other significant difference that I noticed was that, the potential car buyers in Honda dealership did not know much about cars or what kind of car they would want, they were usually more leaning towards what was cheaper, new or used car did not make any difference. While in the BMW car dealership, most customers were looking towards buying a new car.
• The other huge difference between two dealerships was how the salesmen approached the potential buyers. In BMW dealership, the salesmen knew right away if the potential would actually buy the car that day, or they were browsing around, or if they just wanted to go on a test drive. In the Honda dealership, all of the salesmen, regardless about the customers mood, are very much excited to show the customer what they want and try to full fill their needs.
