The avarage life expectency in U.S. is 70 years of age, which is many years compared to some dacades before. Some of the reasons is good quality that health care provides thaks to all the money it raises, but where the money should come from? Some people argue that health care should be partially funded by an increased tax on alcohol and tabacco products because they contribut significantly to the overall tealth care cost. In my opinion, raising taxes in these products will promte the problem, it won’t solve it and it’s anfair to raise taxes just in one suspected product

in tases won’t stop people from buying and abusing alcohol. As a consecuense of buying alcohol, inocent people could get killed by irresponsible drunk drivers.
Finally, It would be unfair to raise taxes on just one suspected product. Since researchers haven’t found the real cause of cancer, it’s unfair to raise taxes just on tabacco. There are more products that may harm the health like Sweet and Low, caffein, microwaves, cell phones and canned food. If there will be a raise in products suspected of causing cancer, then all such products should have an increase.
