The Great Depression and the New Deal

The New Deal covered many aspects of America during the economy because the effect of it happened like a chain reaction. Franklin D. Roosevelt really made a big difference when it came to America. FDR didn’t just make one part of America better; he made sure that everyone, no matter the age or gender, was taken care of. This thoughtful and strategic move made by FDR is the reason why he has been nominated as one of our best presidents in office.

the SEC was a program that regulated the trade of stocks and bombs. This helped the economy because it made sure that the money put into stocks was safe and secure.
The next category involves programs that contributed to a higher morale of the people of the nation. Keep in mind that these programs gave more hope than they did help to the people suffering during the Great Depression. Some programs that fall into this category were the Wagner-Connery Act and the FDIC. These two programs were put in to progress to ease Americans minds about their money and mostly about their lives. The Wagner-Connery Act gave hope more than help because it guaranteed the right to unionize and collectively bargain. Also, the FDIC gave hope to the Americans that had massive amounts of money in the banks because it was put in progress to protect people’s deposits up to $5000.
