The Dark Vigilante had been recorded to move at blinding speed, circling around his opponents and dazzling them by throwing concoctions of various apotropaics such as powdered garlic and hawthorn before charging forward unexpectedly and staking them with any weapon he could acquire. These augmented physical capabilities, and that he was only sighted at night in the absence of sunlight, definitely indicated that the outlaw was a vampire. Since vampires were supposed to be an integrated community, it was possible that this legendary vampire would know the identity of his kind who had assaulted and taken Olaf’s parents. So Olaf planned to interrogate this figure in the process of ambushing him, who was rumored to strike a vampire camp he was heading to, in the auspicious hope that this trip would lead him ever closer to avenging his parents, as was with his many executions of vampires before.
