Transformational Learning is series of challenges and obstacles that we face throughout life by finding a solution or facing a problem. There seven phases according to Jack Mezirow Theory. Here I will describe four of his phases. Self-examination is one that I really do to myself a lot. It means that contemplation of your own thought, ideas, motives and beliefs. that I chose was recognizing that other people go through the same thing. On January 1, 2013 my mom had a lite stroke and one last year on March 29, 2012. I kept wondering why my mom keep having strokes two weeks later she was diagnosed with a rare disease called MoyaMoya. First I had to come up with an action plan that will take care of her while I am at work. Only certain people can understand her because she has Receptive Aphasia. So my brother decides not to join the army by my mother's condition to be able to help her. There was a group of people at the hospital that was going through the same thing with their loved ones they gave me brochure and different websites to learn more about MoyaMoya and words of encouragement that will help me along the way.
