asked why the hell there were buns in the carryon. My mom was laughing and told us they were supposed to go in the bag for the dog sitter. My aunt was taking care of our dog for the week while we were gone. My mom intended to put the buns in the dog’s bag for my aunt because they probably wouldn’t have been good by the time we returned home. She jokingly said that she brought them because that kind of bun is rare to find in Florida. Some stranger sitting across from us started snickering at my mom’s comment, so ever since that time buns have brought up the inside joke with our family about the rare buns.
When we arrived in Florida at about 11 o clock we got our rental vehicle from the airport. After the one hour car ride which was intended to be 20 minutes we were at our condo. The unexpectedly long ride was mostly a result of my mom’s poor navigation. After checking out our condo my dad and I went to Wal-Mart for groceries. I got which was a Goofy hat that I had to beg and cry for. Disney was cool even for teenagers to see. The old fashioned main street with all of the shops and barbershop style singers in the middle of the road were neat. Many of the rides and roller coasters were aimed towards younger kids to ride on, but there were also many sweet ones such as Space Mountain for the older kids. Seeing the Disney castle brought back many memories as well.
At night in Disneyland they had a light parade. All of the characters had floats and vehicles covered with all sorts of neon and led lights. After the parade they also put on a fireworks display all around the castle. And of course Tinkerbelle ...
