Victory Is Mine


In order for her to solve the problem that she once had, she had to realize that she had a problem. Onece she relized taht she had a problem with alcohol, she sought help at a treatment center, and joined aa support group.
She first realized that she has a problem with alcohol when her life started to dissipate right in front of her eyes. Alxohol was her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She began to dink to live and live to drink. Her life was going nowhere fast. She lost her soul in the world of confusion. The children were taken away. Her parents were very concerned and her dear sister, whom she was living with, became outraged with her. She stepped in when the children were taken away. ...

Finally, after getting treatment, she understood that she needed support. When she got out of treatment, she attended her firs AA meeting, which was one of the suggestions that was given while she was in treatment. Today she still continues to attend my meetings. Taking her recovery very serious today. She feels as though she dose not attend her meetings, as she should because of her class schedule. However, She has a very good foundation. Whenever she is not able to attend a meeting, she know just what to do. AA is her livelihood.
Today, she has ten years of sobriety, In addition, she feels as though she owes it all to god, who has really been good to her children and herself. She has regained the respect of her parents, sister, and even the children. However, she has regained respect for herself. The program has given her back her life.
