Imagine you being born with something then it is snatched from you because you don't fit the requirements. If its yours, why should you have to fit to some "terms and conditions"? Voting is a guaranteed right that is automatically given to you from the moment you become a citizen, it's a privilege. When you're unhappy with how the world is going, you vote, to make a change. Voting is the time that our citizens get ready to have their voices heard and to be a part of the "change'. However, some of our citizens are not able to vote due to certain circumstances which is causing their voices to not be heard. Our citizens have burdens which causes them not to meet the voting "requirements". ...

stopping them from many opportunities. However, they shouldn't be stripped of their basic rights which is to vote. They are still citizens and their voices matter just like any citizen. If they already served their time, why are they still being punished? A felon voice shouldn't be silenced due to their past. Their future matters and voting will be essential to it. Many people argue that felons shouldn't be allowed be vote due to lack of their trustworthiness and responsibility, however, humans tend to make mistakes and their past shouldn't determine their future.
Secondly, many more citizens would be able to vote since the requirements would no longer be overbearing such as bringing in two forms of identifications. During election time, many citizens always hear about the requirements and it'll scare them away.
