I have never really stopped to think about how important music is to me. The constant beat of the drum and lyrics stuck in my head for days. The way the right songs can instantly cheer me up and the wrong ones can put me in a terrible mood. Music is my everything. Each song represents a different situation in my life and how I deal with them all differently.
When I am happy, I tend to be full of energy and I just want to sing and dance, however bad that may look and sound. One of my current favorite songs to sing is "Il Mondo Prima Di Te" by Annalisa. in a day that would normally take me a week. Other times, I cannot get out of bed because I am lacking in energy. Previously, on the really bad days, I wondered if life was worth living. I would constantly wonder why God would let this happen to me, and if he even existed at all. I have doubted everything, but coming through those dark times has only solidified my beliefs. One song that definitely fits this time in my life is "Tutto Per una Ragione" by Benji & Fede. The lyrics read "Everything happens for a reason, and the reason perhaps is you.
