Who would have ever thought that trying to figure out your favorite food would be so hard to do? I know I didn’t. At first I narrowed it down to four dishes. My Nana’s taco casserole, my Mom’s Italian delight, my girlfriend’s lasagna and BBQ chicken. I had to really think about each one before I finally made a decision. I decided that my favorite dish would have to be my mom’s Italian delight. I would say that it’s my favorite dish because it’s a special dish to my family, everyone that has tried it has really liked it and it has a little bit of history behind it. By the end of this essay one should know all about the dish and why it is my favorite dish.

some of what the dish has in it and I have watched her make it but that’s all I know.
The ingredients of the dish that I know are spaghetti noodles, tomato sauce, mushrooms, hamburger meat, cheese and some other stuff that I don’t know about and that she wont tell me. She makes it by starting out making spaghetti, and then once that is done she pours the spaghetti in a big rectangular serving dish, covers it with lots of cheese and puts it in the oven for about and hour.
I don’t have a lot of stories that involve this dish because it is a dish that my mom makes maybe once a year and it is mostly a dish that is made for special occasions. But one story I have about this dish, sad though it may be, is from last Easter. It all started in the morning when I woke up and smelled onions and hamburger cooking in along with tomatoes and you could smell the cheese along with it all cooking together in a big pot and then I knew my mom was cooking her famous Italian delight.
