A better way of sharing has been through communities of practice, which “. . . facilitate collaboration by enabling people with similar interests, needs, and responsibilities to work together across time and distance” (Reiser-Dempsey, p 159). Education-related Websites, such as Edutopia, offer teachers the chance to join communities and share knowledge with one another.
